It is with profound emotions of painful, heartfelt loss and intense unbearable personal sadness that I report the passing of Mona Orr.
MONA ORR
1930 - 2019
I stayed with Mona through the night. I positioned the recliner next to her bed, dropped the rail and placed my pillow and head right next to Mona's and held her all night.
At 4:30AM, she began her final journey and I immediately woke up, I never left her side, holding her hands and hugging her. I never stopped talking to her.
At 5:44 AM, Mona was gone. Her eyes wide open and fixed to my last position, they had been closed until now. I stayed with her for the next hour until the Neptune Society came to take her away. She wanted to be cremated and her ashes released on the shores of Santa Barbara into the Pacific Ocean.
Mona now resides in my heart, my mind and every cell of my being, until we meet again. L’amour perdure.
